2021 ACOBE Festival: Artist Spotlight Series

ACOBE (A Celebration of Black Excellence) is an arts and culture festival celebrating black excellence that I helped produce. For the festival’s third annual celebration, I joined the team to produce video content and assist in converting the previously live festival event into a digital experience to adjust to the limitations on large gatherings due to the COVID-19 pandemic. I assisted in curating and organizing the festival lineup and served as the technical director for the festival weekend, managing the backend of the Streamyard and Hopin.com accounts used to host and broadcast the online festival experience.

My favorite video work that I produced for the festival was the Artist Spotlight Series. This video series took what would have been live performances during a standard festival event and turned them into recorded studio sessions that could be played during the festival’s digital broadcast.
